BREXIT: UK and Switzerland agree on trade-deal after Brexit

Britain and Switzerland have signed a deal to maintain the trade relations between both countries post Brexit regardless of whether Britain exits the EU with a deal or not. The deal is such that If the there is a transition period between the EU and the UK following March 29, 2019, the bilateral agreements between Switzerland and the EU will continue to apply between Switzerland and the UK. However, if the UK leaves the European Union without a deal. The deal between the two countries will come into effect and the EU-Swiss agreements will cease to apply to relations between Switzerland and the UK.
